Delete your Tamam account
Either way below deletes your account and everything in it.
In the app
Tap your photo at the top right, then Settings, then Delete my account and data, near the bottom, and tap Delete my account and data again to confirm. If you sign in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm next. Your account and everything in it are deleted from our server straight away, and the app's data on that phone is cleared. It cannot be undone.
Without the app
Send us the request by email. We reply to check it is yours, then delete the account and everything in it within 30 days.
If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, write from any address and say so. We will find another way to check the account is yours before we delete it.
What is deleted
- Your prayers, Qur'an pages, dhikr, fasts and make-up prayers
- Your journal and heart check-ins
- Your Body and Self care records, health numbers, medication and settings
- Your friends, what you shared with them, and your du'a asks
- Your ways of signing in, and the Sign in with Apple link to Tamam
How long it takes, and what is kept
- In the app, your account goes at once. A request by email is done within 30 days.
- Copies inside our server's backups are gone within 60 days.
- A khatm you were part of carries on for its other members, without your name.
